Over the years the Jesmond Dene Hotel has acquired many awards. Recommended internationally by a number of world famous publications, we attract a huge number of people from many continents. We are very proud of the fact that we were one of the first hotels in Kings Cross St Pancras to be published in the famous French guide book Le Guide Du Routard. Following this, across the Atlantic were positive reviews in major guide books such as Lets Go, Rick Steve’s and the Frommer’s guides. During the last ten years a number of American journalists have reviewed our establishment and kindly recommended our services.

We are also the only Bed and Breakfast Hotel in Kings Cross St. Pancras to be officially rated by the AA tourist board.

Our rating is currently 3 Stars, which is assessed yearly to ensure that the quality and level of service we provide remains the same. To acquire the grade is part of the challenge we relish as a hotel, what is more difficult is to retain the award. This is mainly because the AA will visit our premises without telling us they are coming on a yearly basis to ensure all is in order. However, we've held on to it without issue since first attaining the grade, so we must be doing something right.
