The Jesmond Dene Hotel is arguably one of the best St Pancras Hotels in London. We are literally across the road from the St. Pancras Eurostar terminal and two minutes walk from Kings Cross underground station, the most connected London station on the transport network. This means quick and easy access to all London airports, the majority of which are serviced with direct connections. Our postcode WC1 indicates we are in the West Central section of London. Five minutes’ walk from us is the British Library. Walk fifteen minutes to visit the legendary British Museum. If markets are your choice, the very popular Camden Town market is only a twenty minute walk directly from the hotel. St Pancras International –Eurostar Terminal

Across the road from Kings Cross station lives the new Eurostar Terminal otherwise known as St Pancras International. St Pancras International is the new home for all Eurostar trains which previously were located at London’s Waterloo station. Disneyland Paris, Brussels, Geneva are just a few of the great places you can get to and from St. Pancras International within hours.

Heathrow Airport
Heathrow is the easiest and most economical station for traveling to and from Kings Cross St. Pancras. When you arrive to Heathrow terminal 1,2,3,4 or 5 you are able to get the Piccadilly line direct to Kings Cross St. Pancras within 1 hour. The ticket price is £4.50 each way. You can also get the Heathrow Express which is more expensive currently £16.50. Even though this is a quick 20 minute journey into London Paddington you still have to travel to Kings Cross. Therefore overall it is very expensive and does not save you any time at all.
Luton Airport
London Luton Airport is only a one our train journey away from the Jesmond Dene Hotel. You will need to get a short bus connection from the airport to Luton Parkway station which is free of charge. From here you board the First Capital Connect train to Kings Cross St. Pancras which takes 40 mins. The current price for a one way is £13.50
London Gatwick
London Gatwick is also served with a direct train via the First Capital Connect service. This service currently take 45 minutes and costs £9. This is a cheap and efficient way to come into central London.
London City Airport
This is the only airport inside the city of London. Taking the DLR train service from the airport direct to Bank underground station, you will then need to change to the Northern Line which links direct to Kings Cross St. Pancras. The total journey time will be 45 minutes and cost £4.00.
London Stansted Airport
Very popular with cheap flights operated by Ryanair and Easyjet, Stansted is a very busy airport. The Stansted Express service is a train which runs from the airport to Tottenham Hale and Liverpool Street underground stations. It take 45 minutes. We do recommend you stop off at Tottenham Hale then switch to Victoria Line which is only four stops to Kings Cross St. Pancras. The only problem is that the service finishes at midnight, so if you are delayed you will miss the service. Alternatively you can catch a Bus service which is cheaper. Terravision, National Express and Easy Bus all operate this service. They operate 24 hours.
Driving Directions
The most common mistake when driving into Kings Cross St Pancras is to follow your satellite navigation. Unfortunately most of the time you will be diverted around the difficult one way system. Essentially Euston Road runs between Kings Cross Station and Argyle Street. Therefore when traveling East the station will appear on the left hand side. It is important that before you approach the station at the double set of traffic lights you take the immediate right turning into Belgrove Street. You then take the next first right into St. Chad’s Street. The Jesmond Dene Hotel is the cream corner building at the end of the road. If you are traveling west Kings Cross station will be on the right. Again ensure you turn left into Belgrove Road otherwise you will have to go round the entire one way system.
If you do want to use GPS please see use: Latitude 51.5290, Longitude -0.1233 .
When you exit Kings Cross St Pancras undergound station please look for exit marked:
"Euston Road (South Side), Camden Town Hall, St. Pancras Library"
When you arrive at street level on your left is a HSBC bank and a Burger King. Take the first left which is Argyle Street. We are then 50 meters on the left handside.
If your come out of another exit just ensure that your back is against the station and you are looking across Euston Road. Aim to the right where the HSBC and Burger King lie.
